Advice
from the environmental health department on
Chinese products
The Department
for Environmental Health during its monitoring
exercise regarding the melamine, has yesterday
morning investigated two products which were
produced in China and dispatched within the EU.
The Department is
now in a position to state that these two
products have also been imported into Malta.
Health Inspectors have confirmed the presence of
these products on the local market and have
sealed any remaining stock.
Although there is
no concern for people who may have consumed such
products, as a precaution the Department is
advising the public to refrain from consuming
the products indicated below:
