The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology is setting up a
new department with the responsibility to keep a lookout for EU and
other Projects. The following key staff members are expected to
actively spearhead this department by continuous scanning for EU and
other funded projects, making all the logistical preparations and
assisting the various project leaders within MCAST with the
preparation of proposals, identification of partners and
implementation of projects.
EU Projects Compliance Co-ordinator (ETC Permit 168/2008) (MPO/205/2006/15)
Requirements:
Prospective candidates must:
Be in possession of a first degree in Accountancy or Business
Management and have a minimum of three years experience in a similar
or related position.
OR
Possess extensive financial experience and a proven track record of
a minimum of 10 years.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Setting up and spearheading a quality assurance system to ensure
that EU projects meet regulatory standards and specifications;
Preparing feasibility reports and performing financial and technical
audits, and
Making all logistical preparations related to finance.
EU Projects Co-ordinator (ETC Permit 169/2008) (MPO/205/2006/15)
Requirements:
Prospective candidates must:
Be in possession of a business and/or a management related first
degree;
Have a minimum of five years experience in project management and/or
coordination, and
Be fully familiar with ESF, ERDF and other programmes and
initiatives.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Researching and identifying of EU programmes, initiatives and
potential partnerships and actively following up applications;
Coordinating and monitoring the successful completion of ESF and
ERDF projects and maintaining accurate records of all projects.
Have at least five years practical experience in an engineering
field.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing technical support at proposal stage of project application
and follow up at project implementation, and
Preparing bills of quantities for specific works.
