The appointee will be expected to devote two hours per week to
participate in the teaching and other activities relating to the
Department of Surgery within the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
The appointment will be for three years, renewable subject to
performance and availability of funds.
2. Candidates are expected to be in possession of a post-graduate
qualification in Surgery and be on the Register of the Malta Medical
Council. Experience, research and publications in the field of
Surgery are essential.
3. Appointment may be made at the grade of Lecturer, provided that
the candidates satisfy the statutory requirements for appointment at
that grade.
The salary attached to the part-time post (T2) is €1,717 rising by
annual increments of €51 up to €1,870.
