Sealed tenders will be received in the tender box at the Naxxar Local
Council up to noon of Monday, 28th April 2008, for:-
Advt. No. T/04/08. Clerical services on a 20 hour week basis.
A fee of €15.00 (Lm6.44) is to be paid for each copy of tender document.
The ideal candidate must, amongst other matters, meet the following
requirements:
Be competent, qualified and able to perform the duties listed in the
tender document. He/She shall be of a good moral character, have a
friendly personality and capable of working on own initiative without
supervision.
He/She shall possess ‘O’ level certificates (not below the grade of C or
equivalent) in at least five different subjects. Three of the five
subjects should be Maltese, English and Mathematics.
He/She shall be computer literate and have a good knowledge in the basic
computer office applications including Microsoft Excel and Word.
He/She shall submit a detailed curriculum vitae and a clean police
conduct certificate not older than six months.
Relative tender documents may be collected from the Naxxar Local
Council’s Offices, 18, Civic Centre, 21st September Avenue, Naxxar, from
8.00 a.m. to noon (Monday to Friday).
Tenders will be opened in public immediately after the closing date and
time.
Tender documents may also be viewed during the same hours free of
charge.
This contract is a ‘Contract of Service’ not an ‘Employment Contract’.
The Naxxar Local Council reserves the right to refuse any offer.

The Santa Venera Local Council notifies that:-

A fee of €46.59 (Lm20) is to be paid for each copy of tender document.

Sealed tenders will be received at the Gudja Local Council’s office by
not later than noon of Thursday, 24th April 2008, for:-
Advt. No. 04/08. Cleaning and maintenance of soft areas, parks and
gardens.
A fee of €34.94 (Lm15.00) is to be paid for each copy of tender
document.
The contract is for one year renewable annually up to a maximum period
of three years. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s
