THE PRESIDENT AND MRS.
FENECH ADAMI ON AN OFFICIAL VISIT TO
UKRAINE
The President of Malta
and Mrs Fenech Adami, accompanied by the
Hon. Tonio Borg, Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Foreign Affairs, left Malta
early this afternoon, Tuesday 8 July 2008 on
a two day Official Visit to the Republic of
Ukraine on the invitation of the President
of the Republic of Ukraine.
During this official
visit, the President of Malta will hold
talks with the President of the Republic of
Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Viktor Yuschchenko, Ms
Yulia Tymoshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine,
Mr Volodymyr Ogryzko, Minister of Foreign
Affairs and Mr Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman
of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament).
A Business Delegation of
high officials from a number of government
entities, constituted bodies and private
companies is accompanying the Official
Visit.
The President and Mrs.
Fenech Adami return to Malta on Thursday, 10
July 2008.
