The Acting President, Dr. George Hyzler presented various donations to philanthropic associations on behalf of the Malta Community Chest Fund.  

The organisations benefiting from these donations included:  

The Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder  Family Support Group,
Dar Qalb ta’ Ġesu, Dar Sagra Familja, Dar is-Sliem,
Daughters of the Sacred Heart,
Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
Fra Diego Home,
Għaqda Persuni Neqsin mis-Smigħ,
Għaqda Żjarat lill-Morda fl-Isptarijiet u fid-Djar,
Grupp Solidarjeta’ Persuni bi Bżonnijiet Speċjali,
Kampanja Milied Ħieni,
Malta Cochlear Implant Ass., 
St. Francis de Paule Home,
St Jeanne Antide Welfare Campaign,
St. Peter Home,
Social Assistance Secretariat,
Suret il-Bniedem,
Thalassaemia Awareness Maltese Association (TAMA),
Talking Book Service for people with special needs, and
Ursuline Home.  

The donations amounted to Lm8,278 and consisted mainly of financial aid, white goods and specialized apparatus.
