The
President of Malta, H.E. Dr. Edward Fenech Adami and Mrs. Fenech Adami,
presented various donations to philanthropic associations and
individuals, on behalf of the Malta Community Chest Fund. The donations
consisting in financial aid, specialized apparatus and white goods,
totaled the sum of Lm47,932.
During
the presentation, 11 philanthropic associations benefited from these
donations, namely, Betanja Frangiskana, Dar il-Kaptan, Fra Diego Home,
Fondazzjoni Suret il-Bniedem, Grupp ghat-Tielet Dinja, Half-way House,
Merhba Bik, Museum Bniet Dingli, Razzett tal-Hbiberija, Richmond
Foundation and Sisters of Charity.

individuals benefited from donations totaling Lm39,603. Of these
Lm24,267 went toward procuring special apparatus such as specialised
wheelchairs, beds and hoists.
