The
Malta Community Chest Fund is at present busy preparing for the 2004
edition of the President's Ball, which will be the last fund raising
event during Prof. Guido de Marco’s term as President of the Republic.
This
year’s team of volunteers is under the chairmanship of Mrs Liana
Caruana Colombo. The event, which will be held under the distinguished
patronage of His Excellency the President of Malta and Mrs de Marco,
forms part of the Malta Community Chest Fund's annual calendar of events
in order to raise money for various individuals and philanthropic
institutions in need.
The
President's Ball, of which proceeds are in aid of the Malta Community
Chest Fund will be held at The Palace, Valletta on Saturday, 27th
March 2004 at 2000hrs. Catering has been trusted to Island Caterers Ltd
complimented by a selection of wines provided by Delicata Winery.
