H.E. the President of Malta and Mrs de Marco, on behalf of the Malta Community Chest Fund, today presented financial aid, specialised apparatus and white goods to various individuals and philanthropic institutions in need. This presentation was held this morning at the Palace, Valletta. 

The total sum presented today  was Lm 58,156. 

168 individuals and 19 philanthropic institutions have benefited from these donations. The former have received a total of LM 44,903 out of which, LM 26,606 in help for specialised apparatus. The specialised apparatus includes wheelchairs, buggies, lifting chairs, hoists and other equipment.  

The philanthropic institutions have received a total of LM 13,253 and amongst those institutions and associations who received this help are:
