MALTA COMMUNITY CHEST FUND PRESENTS DONATIONS TO
GOZITAN PHILANTHROPIC INSTITUTIONS
H.E. Prof. Guido de Marco, President of Malta has today presented, on
behalf of the Malta Community Chest Fund, financial aid, specialised
apparatus and white goods to various philanthropic institutions and
individuals in need. The presentation was held at Lourdes Home in
Ghajnsielem, Gozo.
The total sum presented today reached Lm 12,301.
28 individuals and 10 families in need, together with
11 philanthropic institutions have benefited from these donations. The
former have received a total of Lm8,291 out of which Lm 4,786 in help
for specialised apparatus. The specialised apparatus includes
specialised wheelchairs, special buggies, lifting chairs, hoists and
other equipment.
The philanthropic institutions have received a total
of Lm 4,010, and amongst those institutions and associations who
received this help are:
