PRESIDENT
GUIDO de MARCO IS PRESENTED WITH A LM1000 DONATION BY A RECENTLY SET UP
BUSINESS VENTURE
“Every donation to the Malta Community Chest Fund is another added
contribution towards helping several individuals in need. During my
Presidency, I became every day more conscious that even though funds
collected are considerable, and generosity never lacks, they never seem
to be enough.”
This
was underlined by H.E. Prof. Guido de Marco, President of Malta, when
presented with a LM1,000 donation in aid of the MCCF by Mr Mike Bennett,
Director of Happi Group Malta.
When
addressing The President during today’s presentation Mr. Bennett said
“Happi Group recognises the sterling work being done by the MCCF in
reaching out to hundreds of individuals and philanthropic institutions
in need. We hope, through this donation, to assist the fund in helping
to ease some of the suffering other people may be experiencing and also
acknowledge the ongoing need for corporate social responsibility”.
Happi
Group Malta is a recently formed International Trading Company.
The
presentation was held at San Anton Palace, Attard.
