Once again, the
Department of Information is organising the Malta Pavilion at the
International Fair being held between today Wednesday 2nd and
Sunday 13th July.
This year’s
Pavilion’s theme is “Malta
fl-Unjoni Ewropea – b’Ħila u b’Ħeġġa”.The Pavilion features printed and audio-visual information
regarding the various developments that are underway, in the light of
our country’s accession to the European Union on the 1st
May, 2004.
Representatives from
the Malta-EU Information Centre (MIC) will be available at the Pavilion
for the benefit of members of the public wishing to obtain information
regarding Malta and the European Union.MIC’s desk will include all the fact sheets in Maltese and
English that the Centre has produced over the past months, containing
information on over 100 sectors of the Maltese economy and employment.
Visitors to the
Pavilion will be able to participate in a competition by answering a
questionnaire.At the
end of each day of the Fair, the first questionnaire to be drawn having
at least four correct answers, will entitle its holder to a Go Mobile
Pack.
